This is an area of typical Precambrian Shield and boreal forest. The park has no facilities for visitors. However, for the hardy adventurer there is backcountry camping, canoeing, and sportfishing. Biscotasi Lake resembles a wishbone on the map, pointed north, with the town of Biscotasing at the tip of the western channel. Water access to the park is gained from the town of Biscotasing.
